Civic education has been the driving force behind my career for more than 14 years. As a product of powerful civic learning experiences, I understand the transformative role education can play in preparing students not only for academic success, but for engaged citizenship, meaningful careers, and lifelong participation in their communities.
Throughout my career, I have worked with school districts, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies to develop curriculum, design innovative educational programs, streamline district initiatives, and create sustainable systems that support educators and learners. What began as a commitment to strengthening civic education in Oregon has grown into collaborations with partners across the United States, helping organizations connect their goals to meaningful and measurable outcomes.

Led the development of advanced civic education programming across AP U.S. Government, Constitutional Law, U.S. Government and Civics and interdisciplinary social studies courses. Designed district-aligned curriculum systems, experiential learning models, and instructional frameworks supporting consistent implementation across classrooms.
Developed and facilitated mock congressional hearings featuring civic and governmental leaders, strengthening student engagement in authentic civic processes. Supported district-wide professional learning and instructional initiatives focused on equity, rigor, and civic engagement.
